Brett Huckfield is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from the West Midlands, England. His debut single ‘Here Again’ was released on the 1st of February 2009 as an MP3 download; in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Japan.
Having split with his publisher in 2007 (after securing the return of his song copyrights), and having turned down a further offer of publishing in return for mainstream US airplay; Brett prefers to exist as an independent artist.
The ‘Here Again’ single was taken from Brett Huckfield’s forthcoming ‘City Blue’ album. All the tracks on ‘City Blue’ were written and produced by Brett; who also performed all the instrument and vocal parts on the album (stating the reason as; ‘during my album sessions…the tracks were done before I’d formed my band… so I had to play/ sing everything myself –lol!!’).

I was saddened to hear that Davy Jones, of The Monkees
fame passed away at his home in Florida a few days ago. I know a
lot of musicians and music fans weren't that keen on the band, as
they were always perceived as being 'manufactured'.
