It does have a couple of weak tracks, but overall it's truly beautiful. I love the direction he took, the piano arrangements and the use of diverse instruments through this. Even though I loved Wilderness, I couldn't expect a second coming of the same album (for obvious reasons).

This album exceeded my expectations so much. The first solo album was good, but I don't think I would have enjoyed it if I didn't already like Suede. Wilderness bored me truthfully. But Slow Attack is so wonderful and ethereal and well done, musically and lyrically. This is the only Brett solo album I would show to someone who doesn't know Suede and expect them to like it. Well done Brett!
