Springfield IL, United States (1997 – present)

Brendon Small (born February 15, 1975 in Springfield, Illinois) is an American sitcom writer/producer, actor, comedian, voice actor, composer, and musician. He is best known as the creator of the animated series Home Movies and Metalocalypse and as the creator of the virtual band Dethklok.

Small started learning guitar at age 14 after a kid in his neighborhood began teaching him about guitar and music. At his first public performance his hands shook so wildly that he had trouble controlling the guitar. It was another ten years before he was comfortable performing in public. He graduated from Palma High School in Salinas, California. He graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 1997. During his music studies he concurrently took several writing and comedy classes at Emerson College. After graduating, he felt that the rock music genre was fading in popularity so decided to try his hand at comedy.

He was performing at The Comedy Studio in Harvard Square when he was spotted by Loren Bouchard, who at the time was casting for the central character for a UPN pilot produced by Tom Snyder Productions which eventually evolved into Home Movies.

Brendon Small was the co-creator, writer, voice actor, composer and musician for Home Movies, a cartoon initially aired on the UPN television network and then moved to Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. The final episode of Home Movies aired on April 4, 2004, after running four seasons, although the show is periodically rerun on Adult Swim.

You know 2014 has been a bad year for music when Galaktikon is one of the best albums to come out.

Galaktikon is Great. I like it a bit more than Dethklok because its a bit more listenable but both are great. Metalocalypse is my favorite show on TV.

Galaktitron reminds me of Slough Feg. Check out their album called Traveller.

I don't "just wish he made Dethalbum III." I'm greedy. I want this AND dethalbum III, and dethalbum IV-X, and Galaktikon II-X. Keep it comin Brendan. Metal needs you.

I was pleasantly surprised. It's a nice change from Dethklok and can hold its own. And is definitely warming me up for the third album.

People will find anything to complain about, won't they? I actually really enjoy this album (Beastblade is fucking fantastic). Now I'm just waiting for the rest of the season four and Dethablum III.

It's a cool album but I'm sure some of the Dethklok fans will complain it's not the vocals they expected
