There are three bands that go by the name Boxes:
1) Boxes is indie-electro-pop hailing from south-east London. Boxes collides contagious melodies with messed-up synths, guitars & punching beats…. and makes melancholy feel like a warm summers day. A delicate balance of The Postal Service, Bright Eyes and The Killers. Look out for him in 2012.

2) Boxes is a band based in Davis, California.

“Boxes was created in the fall of 2008. Boxes consits of Lindsey Pavao (from A Colourado) and Matthew Torres (from Bad Fusion and Danny DeLeon). Lindsey and Matt met at UC Davis after they realized that they lived in the same apartment complex, had the same major, and had all the same friends. Matt doesn’t know if he… likes peanut brittle. It has been claimed by many that Boxes plays a combination of creep rock, folk pop and mime screamo. Matt and Lindsey nod in agreement at this.
NOTICE: Matt and Lindsey are not actually boxes. They are normal law biting citizens.
Boxes tends to write their songs in an improv format. Often making funny stories out of their misery filled lives. They also like playing Nirvana and Franz Ferdinand covers as if their songs were written by Elliot Smith. You should see this band play live. They are very amiable young-ins.”
Their latest release was an EP named “Mia And Her Troop of Boxes”.
