Biography

Box The Stars is an Alternative/Emo band from Canton, Ohio, formed by Andy Potter on lead vocals, Daryl Johnson on guitar, Rob Richards on bass and vocals, and Zach Negulis on guitar and vocals. The band recorded its first 3 songs in May of 2007 with producer Bryan Patrick (Cherry Monroe, Wake Hollywood, Atlantic Records) at Jungle studios in Cleveland, Ohio and quickly gained a huge local following. Since then, they have opened for acts such as Rookie of the Year and The Secret Handshake. They have played sold out shows with bands like Just Surrender and E for Explosion. They won the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands and played a spot on Warped Tour in the summer of 2008. Alternative Press magazine called them Hometown Heroes in 2009. They received radio play on 96.5 KISS FM and were the featured number one rock band in Ohio on myspace.com music charts for a few months in 2009.

They have gone through rough times with Andy Bors dropping out and rejoining the band in the summer of 2006 and then departing again to be replaced in March 2008 by Rob Richards on bass. After the departure of Jay Domer, Teddy Tedoroski is filling in on drums.

They released an acoustic EP “A Story We Tell Ourselves” November 12, 2008 through Snocap. They are working on their full length album which is still Entitled “Where Did Our Hearts Go”.
