Biography
Bow Mods are PCS (vocals) and Ne’er-Do-Well (everything else). A skewed alliance of theatrical tart and synth boffin, the duo was rudely birthed to the clanging of East London’s Bow bells.
Employing a relentlessly strict Bauhaus aesthetic* and a potty-mouthed schoolboy humour, their angular, outre pop is tough, utilitarian and soaked in brittle, British wit.
Effortlessly distilling arch diatribe into thrilling three minute nuggets on love, loss, suffering, shagging, death and dancing, BM are defining a darkly comic oeuvre all of their own.
Propelled by NDW’s twisted, left-field musical proclivities and brought to incandescent life by PCS’s slick performance chops and velvet filthy vocals, the results are Kraftwerk groping Grace Jones via Neil Tennant and Dave Gahan fighting over broken biscuits on a Charles and Di commemorative plate…
