About this album
E. 1999 Eternal remains the group’s best-selling album, with four million copies sold in the United States and ten million worldwide. The album topped the Billboard 200 for 2 weeks. The album was released 4 months after Eazy-E’s death, who was the executive producer of the album. His posthumous compilation album was released later in November 1995 titled Eternal E. Its title is taken from Bone’s album.
Behind the 1999 on the album cover it displays “Eric Wright RIP”, which is Eric “Eazy-E” Wright.

Memories here, oh yeah. The whole East 1999 Eternal album was dope to cruise the streets to late at night on Friday and Saturday nights in 1995. That was the year I graduated high school. Me and a few good friends would jam this cd in my 1985 Camaro. The sound system then was an Alpine deck and pre-amp, Linear Power 95x2 for the MB Quart 6.5's and tweeters, a Precision Power 125x4 for the 4x6's in the dash and 6x9's. The subs were 2 Atomic 12's in a tuned and ported box. It had a Precision Power amp on them bridged. I do not remember the wattage bridged though. I'm guessing about 600. It hit 143db at the dash. Reverb on a camaro is killer. This song is tied to those memories.
