Bone Awl is a black metal band from Novato, California that formed in 2002. It consists of two members, He Who Crushes Teeth and He Who Gnashes Teeth (named after the Norse god Thor’s goats that pulled his chariot). Both members previously played in the grind/thrash band Belador who released two demos and a split with American sludge band Sloth. As Bone Awl they have released around nine demos, several EPs, splits and singles and a full-length record titled “Meaningless Leaning Mess”. The band has released primarily through their own label Klaxon productions and American underground metal label Nuclear War Now!.

    For all of you who downloaded this album, be aware that if "These Days Are Marked" is labelled at around 3:10 long, the rip you've got is incorrect. That song is actually "Show Me"..... the benefits of owning the LP, I tells ya....
