How beautifully this album is crafted!!! Just love it... the saxophone, the piano, the minimal subdued beats and bass, the slowness, they all give a continuous never ending flow in time.

Bohren nailed it with this album. Sit there on a rainy day listening to this with a glass of scotch watching the rain fall and you can almost hear Bogart's voice narrating your life. I've been looking for something similar to this album for over a year now, there are things in the same realm, but nothing comes even close to this. Bohren Perfected the Doom Noir Jazz. Wish they kept the sax/piano combo prominent on subsequent albums. I'll never get sick of this album.
