Unarguably one-of-a-kind band. I always find myself gravitating towards their Sax-oriented recordings more than the Dark-Ambient-heavy stuff. Christoph has a unique & mournful style of Sax-playing which I find addictive and attention-gripping.
Listening to this wonderful music gives me the same feeling as those nights where you have been drinking all night and it's starting to become dawn and you still have that acidic feeling in your throat and your head is starting to feel really heavy from the tiredness and dehydration. You can hear the birds start to come out and you drift in and out of sleep as you're walking home with the fragrance of night still seeping in.
Tonight was amazing. Christoph Clöser is really awkward and funny, didn't expect that. But sadly a part of the experience was ruined to me by this awful audience. To those people texting with full luminosity on and to those whispering during the songs : FUCK YOU. Bohren is about pitch black and silence, they try to set a special athmosphere on scene by playing in darkness and in full silence, and there come these assholes.
