At the age of 15 he started writing and performing with late 80’s rap astist YZ. While touring and promoting YZ’s album on Tuff City Records,(Sons of the Father) Fine found his 2nd home along the way in Houston, TX where he collided on wax with some of Houston’s hottest underground emcees, Royal Flush, Bun B of UGK, Uckfe Uye, Born Twice & Mddl Fngz. Fine has done cameos for Tony D’s “Crusaders for Real Hip-Hop” on Profile, The Fu-Snickens’ debut album “FU Don’t Take It Personal” on Jive and Motown’s monumental album “State of Emergency” commemorating the LA riots which featured Ice T, Chuck D, Ice Cube and the Pharcyde. Bobbie’s new album is the first time he’s been able to completely and freely show all of his talents. 17 blazing track written and produced by Fine with additional production by lord for AM. This album represents freedom and a vivid snapshot of his life intertwined with his music. “This Texanized New Jersyan walks the Fine line between underground & commercial hip-hop” said Matt Sonzala of the Houston Press “and his bi-coastal sound gives the album an upbeat east coast feel with some southern soul”.
