Anybody from Houston "tuning" in to this? ... Do you remember the old KIKK back in the late 1960s to early 1970s? ... I'm trying to track down a fellow worker named Bonnie Bryant and her daughter Becky Bryant ... In fact, I'm trying to locate a lot of the old KIKKers and the Miss Go-Texans of that period. Leave a shout. Thanks.

Love to hear ol' Bob shouting in the background .... If this Bob Wills tune doesn't get your boots to tappin' then, Son, there's something mighty wrong with your rhythm section!

2nd voice is Bob Wills himself, enjoying and leading the band.

One of the chart books I often consult has a list in it of songs written before 1955 that have been recorded by the most number of different artists. Bob Wills' "San Antonio Rose" is one of the 100 most recorded--a true classic!

Pure Texas Swing. Asleep At The Wheel is the best at it now.

Bob Wills took Blues, Country, Jazz and Boogie and created this great music. To compare him to Basie or Goodman is comparing apples and oranges.

It Asleep at the Wheel! Can't agree with LondonLouis. Bob Wills is much more than a footnote - particularly if you're standing in, say, Austin versus, say, Manhattan.
