  • DJ AXWELL UNSEX ME, UNSEX ME!!

    24 May 2006, 04:01 by Cloverbell

Hahaha, way too much Shakesphere there.

    Do YOU know Axwell?
I have a new House DJ obsession, guys. I think RAM RIDER has got some competition coming his way.

    http://www.axwell.co.uk/images/gallery11.jpg

Axwell is a Sweedish born House music DJ and producer who I discovered last summer. I didn't know how tremendous he was until I visited his official website. I suggest you go there now, all of his samples are loud and in-charge. =D (http://www.axwell.co.uk/)
Axwell is a real remix feind apparently, so you probably might have heard his work un-knowingly. Axwell's most noteable productions are for N*E*R*D, Usher and Bob Sinclar and many many many more. The client lists keeps on growing.

Enough name dropping! This is about the music!

Ah! You all should've known I'm a real preformance dance fan. ^^; I can't quite explain it but I love watching routined dances for concerts or music videos. It's just amazing for me. Then I sit there and go, "Awww man, I wish I could do that. …

    10 Jan 2006, 02:08 by freshchart

    Hola a todos o Hi all! :)

Here I'll do and write my weekly chart for new, fresh & club hits.
At this moment I'm listening to one very latin track, coming from Bob Sinclar with name [track artist"Bob Sinclar"]Sye Bwa[/track]
I think that in the first week chart, that I'll do here, the leader will be Madonna with her second single Sorry in Extended Mix.

So, this was my first message of this music "blog". :)

Hasta la semana que viene, amigos! ;]

  • mixes are fun

    8 Jan 2006, 01:10 by seelebrennt

i made a couple of mixes recently. one, that i did for myself was a spot of a dance mix. lots of big beats and deep grooves. it's the sort of thing i listen to in the morning so i can actually get moving. then, i really got attached to it and listened to it all the time. i really, really like. so much fun. i blame int on the ministry of sound annual 2006 (uk) comp. if you don't have it, you need to get it. as far as i'm concerned, disc one is worth cost of admission alone.

anywho, here is the tracklisting for MY mix:
    1 gorillaz / dirty harry
2 rhymefest & kanye west / brand new
3 Bob Sinclair ft. gary nesta pine /love generation
4 d.o.n.s ft. technotronic /pump up the jam
5 hard-fi / hard to be beat (axwell mix)
    6 madonna / hung up
    7 tiga / do it don't stop
8 the prodigy /voodoo people (pendulum remix)
9 coburn / we interrupt this programme
    10 porno /music power
    11 M.A.N.D.Y vs booka shade /body language
12 tomas andersson / washing up (tiga remix)
13 ladytron / destroy everything you touch
  • Top 7 CDs of 2005

    28 Dec 2005, 00:06 by schmeep

Well, y'see, I would have done a Top 10 for 2005, but the vast majority of the CDs i bought this year have been from other years. I counted it up and 9 of the CDs were released in 2005, out of god knows how many. Please note when I say CD I do not mean album, I mean CD. So compilations included.

    7. Dynamite
It took me a while to get round to purchasing this, but it was worth it. Jamiroquai have still retained their funkiness, even after six full albums. I was very impressed with the first single 'Feels Just Like It Should' (as well as being very happy to see Jay-Kay and co. back on the scene =D).
My favourites: 'Electric Mistress', 'Starchild', 'Black Devil Car'.

    6. Trouble
Hey look, it's Hannah's favourite DJ, Sandy Rivera, with some other guys! After 'Finally' being a favourite of mine for some time, '6PM', the first track I heard from this album, was not a letdown. Some very funky tracks, others slower, and some really depressing lyrics. Casually slips into deep house here and there, especially in 'Another Day'.
