The eponymous street is that of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Seger’s childhood home. It was released in April 1977 as the fourth single from the album Night Moves The song peaked at #24 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and has since become a staple of classic rock radio. The song also reached number-one in Canada.
