Great song, but I wish it hadn't been used in a commercial for TIAA-CREFF. Every time I hear the track, I see the ad.

bob mould lyrics embarrass me frequently- but his voice redeems the music every time. 1st place tie for best wailing wouned rock voices- bob mould and paul westerberg- it's funny to be this old punk rock icon- and be named bob

The thing that reminds you of pop from the 70's is that his voice sounds like the guy from Foreigner. And the smooth melody, but mostly the Foreigner thing.

THere's something about this song that reminds me of good pop from the 70's. Bob's still one of the best songwriters of our generation.
