The piano version on Bootleg Series 10 is a revelation.
The studio version is endearingly sloppy, but this song really comes into its own with 1975's Rolling Thunder Revue. Day after day, night after night, this song is just brilliant! I love the wild tempo shifts from show to show, too.
This is my very favorite Dylan song.

but at any rate, I just plain love this song
