Well I do love BoB in stereo (it's the only way I've heard it for nearly 20 years) but I find the mono mix sounded a lot better on headphones. Over speakers the wide stereo isn't as noticeable but on headphones, Al is panned completely to one side and it bugs the crap out of me!

Are you kidding me? The mono version sounds so cramped, it loses the harmony of the stereo version. The soundscape is used so well on the stereo version it's unimaginable. For the acoustic material I'd be inclined to agree, but Blonde on Blonde should definitely be listened to in stereo, in my humble opinion.

I thought it was interesting but hardly better than the album version. The mono album version blows away all of 'em though.

Too many of the alternate versions on this soundtrack are too similar to the album versions. Not this one though, it sounds more lively.

I like this better than the Blonde on Blonde album version. It sounds less subdued.
