Well I'm grinding my life out, steady and sure
Nothing more wretched than what I must endure
I'm drenched in the light that shines from the sun
I could stone you to death for the wrongs that you've done

  • "Best song on Tempest, IMO." Ralfsu, you took the words right out of my mouth. A great track indeed. - Mine too. The music sounds a little like the Stones right?
  • Sucks for you bro, this was one of the best songs in recent years
  • Nope, not gonna listen to this.
  • Wuhh I'm griffaff mf lfafff arfff, steady and sure! Nothing more wretched than what I must endure!
  • no christ here
  • such sick drums
  • That GROWL!!
  • In agreement with @enzo5 that this song keeps switching its narrative perspective between two different characters. Both men have had and continue to lead difficult lives. One character despite his difficulties and being tempted to doubt is a man of faith. The other character (with the lower pitched voice and lower musical notes under his voice) is bitter, faithless and vengeful.
  • sounds great! like it would've worked on oh mercy or something!
  • Excellent!
