When you're lost in the rain in Juarez when it's Easter time, too
And your gravity fails and negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs when you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there and they really make a mess outta you

and I thought there was a hint to Ramblin' Jack Elliott's rendition of the song in Bob's organ in this live version :)

I saw Bob performing this song live in Bonn in 2012, one of my favorite early songs. It was the show's opener and he played it for the first time and only once (I think) on that tour leg. What a surprise and heartfelt phrasing

I love the '66 concert where a girl starts screaming when Bob says who Tom Thumb is... and Bob's like "You know Tom Thumb?"

"And my best friend the doctor won't even say what it is I've got." -- brilliant and subtle. Subtle and brilliant.

The only bootleg series I am missing is the 1966 one. The one I need most!

Dylan recorded so many masterpieces that it becomes a moot point to say this is a masterpiece, so I will simply say that this is a masterful classic. Highway 61 Revisited is timeless, in my opinion.

This song's so sad. I'm going to listen to it ten thousand times.

And this is nothing comprable to On The Road. This is heroic couplets sloppily slapped together.

Love how he sings this like he's caught up in the moment of being spread way too thin.
