    they tried to poison me with bad john smiths' yesterday!

    apart from that, Micah P. Hinson was, as expected, quite brilliant
    shame he didn't play more songs from his album, i guess that's mainly because of being onstage with just this other guy from manchester (if someone could fill me in on his name i'd be grateful) who did a great job turning knobs and playing the harmonica (our grandchildren will be reading about it in history books, you know)
    micah p hinson's voice is quite unique... it's one of those voices that stick with you. It took me some time before i figured out who it most reminds me of before it came to me: Barry McGuire - the Eve Of Destruction guy from a 'Flower Power' compilation that i got from my uncle when i was about 10.

    The two girls that supported were nice as well.
    One was called Dawn and was american (i think) and the other Holly (i think) and was from Sydney Australia. (If someone could fill me in on their full names I'd be, again, most grateful)...
