Seven days, seven more days she'll be comin'
An' I'll be waiting at the station for her to arrive
Seven more days, all I gotta do is survive

And it's very freaky. The tempestuous style of performance and the fact that the lyrics are pregnant with that sinful lusting make it kinda scary. Like much of his 70s material, it reflects sexual frustration, but here there is also a sense of impending doom, sort of.

Feels like a spiritual successor of Isis in a sense... Bob in top shape!

One of the best songs ever. I think the only studio version was recorded by Ronnie Wood

I've been exploring Dylan chronologically, and through 1976 at least, this is easily one of Bob's strongest songs, musically speaking! "Such a good Rolling Thunder song." [2]

Didn't like it at first, as I came to learn the Ron Wood version first. But it grew on me during its first play!
