What a great great shame that this is still the multi track mix down to mono version done for 60’s AM radio (USA)
Produced and Mixed by the then young and up-and coming Barry White.

In 2008 The multi tracks were located and were finally given a very very and long overdue mind-blowing Stereo mix.

It is a great shame that companies are not using the new and exciting 2008 Stereo mix there is and can be no comparision.

Mono is pointless and surves no actiual purpose of function at all and its time the companies wised up and stop using old (often EQ tweeked and interfered with mono mixes) We do not watch TV in B&W (normally) why should we listen to1D mono sound? We hear in surround sound 360 degrees (3D) The bare minimum record companies should offer is a true wide soundstage stereo 180 degrees recording >>>>>>remember God gave us 2 ears not vile mono AM Radio! (Mono can always be made from Stereo>>> it can’t truly go the other way!!)

Harlem Shuffle was later sampled by House of Pain in their hit single “Jump Around”.
