Biography

Swedish organist and Hammond master (b.1943, d. 2010), most famous for his solo records, Magician’s Hat, The Lord Of The Rings, Attic Thoughts and Watership Down. In the mid 70’s he played with Janne Carlsson (aka Loffe Carlsson) in duo Hansson & Karlsson. He also made several hours of recordings with Jimi Hendrix who much appreciated the humble Swedish organist.

Bo Hansson is said to have donated his Hammond organ (did he have only one?) to Eric Malmberg of Sagor & Swing, a band that have continued in the tradition of Hansson & Karlsson.
