In a distant place in time a pharaoh wandered
In his mind he could see a kingdom with this king they could not reason
Enslaved in the wish and the dream of a man who's planned their destiny
There was no way out

Sykes is a legend! He can sing, shred on guitar, write...he is one of the best ever. I loved his work in Thin Lizzy the most.

Good Call with Meneketti Bartlascasas. Zakk sings damn good too. Sykes is a top notch musician - Songwriting, vocals and guitar wizardry. By the way, who is this Ray person hotrod1968 is talking about? Ray Gillen? Ray Charles?

incredible singer and songwriter not to mention the guitar being on fire when he is going thru solos... incredible can Sykes do it all or what? adding Appice and Franklin to round that first album just feeds more greatness and made it an instant classic in my collection of music the day it came out in 89!

Sykes sings great and plays great. Other than EC, what overachieving guitar player sings better? Maybe Dave Meneketti.

John is a great guitarist, but a mediocore vocalist, he shoulda left that to Ray or someone more capable but being a control freak that's hard to do
