There are at least four music groups with name Blue Monday:

1.) Melodic Straight Edge band from Vancouver BC Canada

2.) Minimalist electro/noise project from Slovakia formed in 2001

With the intention of doing a one-time gig with a bluesband at a local jam session Blue Monday was formed.
