After a first album ‘Shopping for love’ in 1987, Blue Blot had to wait until 1990 to make a breakthrough to the general public with the album ‘Bridge to your heart’. From this record ‘September’ and ‘Who is he’ were released as singles. The song ‘Bridge to your heart’ was produced by Dani Klein.(Vaya Con Dios). The album ‘Where do we go’ (1991) opened a number of international doors for the band. From this record ‘Where do we go from here’ and ‘Hold the line’ were the most famous songs of Blue Blot. After a temporary recovery from his disease, Luke Walter Jr. took up singing again and recorded the solo-album ‘Back to Normal’ in 1996. At the same time, Blue Blot signed a new lead singer: Steve Clisby. June 18, 1996, Luke Walter Jr. passed away in New York. November 2000, the other musicians of Blue Blot: Jan Meyers, Marty Townsend, Michael Schack and a new singer, Tony O’Malley, presented ‘The Best Of Blue Blot’
