Biography

Formed in 2004, Blue Avengers’ core members are lead singer Alana Miller and guitarist Bob Miller.

Alana Miller began her music career in the 1980’s fronting several Rochester NY based bands prior to heading to New York City with one of the bands and absorbing the diverse sounds of the city. The band eventually splintered and she fronted several other bands and even performed Off Broadway. A journey to the Middle East introduced her to other facets of music before she eventually worked her way back to Rochester NY.

Bob Miller, born and raised in New England, began his music career in London in the late 1970’s as a session guitarist and eventually returned to the states to attend the Berklee School of Music. With a solid funk and blues background, Bob’s decades’ of performing combine with the richness of Alana’s voice and stage presence to create a Blue Avengers’ sound that accents her smooth, sultry presence.

The Blue Avengers recorded their last CD (“Chasing Rainbows in the Dark”) in 2008, and Alana now performs and records under the name of Alana Cahoon. She has released two CDs to date.
