Weak album? My ass it's weak! Pretty strong record, though not in the spirit of Fire or Spectres. Kinda like prototype for Lake of Tears's "Crimson Cosmos".

"A comeback that could've been so much stronger lyrically..." Well, to be honest, this could've been so much stronger musically as well. Although Eric, Buck and Allen are still undoubtedly talented musicians and as much as I appreciate them for who they are, it is sadly clear to me that their golden age in creativity is far behind and is not about to come back, as far as I can see. This and Curse of the Hidden Mirror are albums that probably would've been better to be left undone. It's great they are still touring around, and I believe they can still pull off amazing rock concerts, but I really think they shouldn't make any new music anymore, not as Blue Öyster Cult at least.
