This song is incredibly awesome but seriously, there's nothing jazz about this song (and the whole band in general). It seems that if a band uses the occasional 7th chord, some sus4/sus2 sounds, some polyrhythms, syncopated or weird time signatures or some atonal & outside sounds, they get described as "jazzy." It's not true, Jazz is all about swing, feel & improvisation. Listen to John Coltrane or Allan Holdsworth. Ron himself admit this in an interview. You want some good example of jazz/fusion metal? listen to Lye By Mistake - The Condition and Exivious - Ripple of a Tear . Pure swing & improvisation over some complex chord progressions.

Complicated as hell but an actual song with an actual melody and a rhythm that doesn't cause a stroke. Geniuses all around.

Pretty wild talent, at least to the ears of a non-expert here ;) Whatever, I dig it.

The beginning 9/8 section of this song immediately caught my attention when I first heard it. Brilliant timing work.

This randomly appeared in my library without me playing it. I'm glad it did now.

As a musician I must bow to the music mastery, time shifts, changes of abstract metal. Its beyond Brilliance.
