Bloodbath is a Swedish supergroup formed in Stockholm in 1998 when, one evening, friends Mikael Åkerfeldt, Anders Nyström, Jonas Renkse and Dan Swanö, had the idea to play death metal in the realm of Entombed, mixed with some of the US Florida death metal scene bands. Really fun live. Although, when I saw them last year, Nick did mess up on the vocals quite a lot. Both timing and forgetting/changing lyrics. He played around too much. Peter or Mikael is a tossup, but I think I'd give it to Peter just because I've listened to NMF so much. Although RTC is basically just as good. The Fathomless Mastery was disappointing. Grand Morbid Funeral was ok, and while Nick's vocals don't appeal to me that much, he did a decent enough job on the album.

If Peter Tägtgren did vocals for Bloodbath again though I could die happy. [2] Peter fucking Tägtgren is THE man.

One of the few bands where I literally love every song they've ever made

I love Paradise Lost, but weirdly, Nick Holmes just isn't doing anything for me personally. Maybe the new album will hook more in time, Mikael Akerfeldt era Bloodbath remains phenomenal.

Tägtgren was so amazing but Akerfeldt is the best vocalist.
