Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V). When I was about 3, first song I ever really loved. It was used in the background of a TV program on the Confederate Air Force (Texas). Footage of the aircraft silhouetted against the sunrise/sunset which Pink Floyd in the background. Twas truly epic - wish I could find the VHS again.

When I first consciously heard them - work placement at Ogilvy Action (Digital Department) with their video editing dude - showing me a piece of work he had done - with them in the background - got the album later that day.

Yeah, good old days of sixth form. Never been so obsessed with a group so quickly for such a short amount of time (2 or 3 weeks). I had long since got bored of them by the time their first album came out.
