The story goes that in TX during WWII, Blind Willie was brought in to a radio studio to play this song. It was hoped that Nazi U-boats would be listening and would get the creeps.... that's the story...

He may have been blind, but he could damn sure "see" what mattered - this track sizzles.

Yesterday I reminded my girlfriend about our planned vacation. We’re going for a weeks long cruise. We’ll be on the big ‘ole boat on April 14th… the 99th anniversary of the Titanic sinking. She said never to mention that again… Scary. This song FREAK’n rock’s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic so you just knew that I’d be back to listen and post something on this magnificent song. I requested my local alternative radio station play this today we’ll see if they have the balls.

Man this guy just spills the gospel/blues out of soul and it’s so completely legit. The guitar playing just rules too. That slide!!!
