"Epic" gets used a bunch these days. However, it's the best way to describe Blind Guardian.

I remember my friend Ian put this track on a mix of metal he made me back in 03'. He wanted to get me into newer metal since I had been out of the genre for almost a decade. Some bands on the mix included In Flames, Killswitch Engage, Children of Bodom, Bolt Thrower, Immortal, etc. This track really struck a cord with me. It was unlike anything I had ever heard and I mentioned at times the singer sounded like Freddie Mercury. However, the double bass drumming and galloping duel guitars meant this was worlds away from Queen.

What is with the weird Squeak in every chorus after he says "Released from Rotten..." I hadn't noticed it til it was pointed out and now I can't Unhear it.
