Formed in Helsinki, Finland in 2008.
Black Twig builds on the tradition of jangly, distorted rhythm music. The sound echoes of modern fuzzed out pop experiments as well as of 60s garage rock gems, sometimes developing into hypnotic, repetitive drones.
They released their debut EP “Swans et Tea” in August 2010 and their first album, “Paper Trees”, was released on 11th January 2012 on the Finnish record label Soliti.
