Biography

Blac Haze is a rapper from the Florida Keys. Little is known about the rapper because of the lack of publicity. His real name is Ted Outler.

Blac Haze has made one recorded live performance, in January 1998 which can be found on youtube, and has made two confirmed music videos but only one, Where-U-At can be found on youtube, and the making of Get Dat Money can be found on youtube too. According to Miami locals, Do U Wanna Ride also featured a music video.

However, Blac Haze is not to be confused with Tupac Shakur. A skit from Blac Haze’s album, Res-Sa-Rec-Shun, was a recorded news media coverage reporting on Blac Haze and the Tupac theory. The track, Miami Jams, explicitly stated that Blac was honored to be compared to the rap legend Tupac, but that he is not Tupac.

Blac Haze may rap like Tupac as part of a marketing strategy to sell more albums as the public becomes more convinced. On the album cover of Res-Sa-Rec-Shun, one can clearly see the difference between the facial structure of Tupac and Blac. The album cover of the single Let Me Holla at Cha, shows the tombstone and dark identity of Blac Haze to allude the themes of Tupac from the music video, Hail Mary.

It was thought that Blac Haze no longer raps any more, since the release of So Much Drama, as it got less success and he is thought to of set up a business in Hollywood, FL. However, in August 2012 Blac Haze released three new tracks. They were not publicized at all apart from on his official facebook page.
