this is without a doubt the weirdest song on my iPod :D I honestly don't like it that much and along with Ancestors the worst song by Björk imo. Even though this isn't actually Björk singing. But other that that I find the whole DR9 album pretty interesting to listen to.

When I randomly clicked this song and listened to it a sudden arrow of nostagia hit my mind. See for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOkVNs-UXRs

It's a really interesting song, but it's too exhaustive to listen to. [2] I always imagine a monk in a robe singing it, with a woodworker in the background shouting encouragement to him while hitting a plank. [2]

Some people here should know a bit more about japanese culture....

Couple other people have already basically said it ... this song (according to Wikipedia, mind you) has nothing to do with Björk. Matthew Barney wrote it, and Shiro Nomura sang it. Of course I already scrobbled for Björk once or twice :P but now I've changed my ways. And I have a serious question that perhaps the knowledgeable in Japanese culture may be able to answer, is the singing meant to to be very vibraty and end on an upward note? Because although I like the voice this struck me as odd.

Doesn't change the fact that it's a weak song.
