About this album

Telegram is a remix album by Icelandic singer-songwriter/musician Björk, released on January 14th, 1996. It’s a collection of remixes of several tracks from her album Post which had all previously appeared as B-sides of the UK versions of the singles off Post, including the non-album track, My Spine. The cover was shot by Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki. All of the songs on Post were remixed, excluding “The Modern Things” and “It’s Oh So Quiet”. The collection also included one new song entitled “My Spine” which was originally slated to appear on Post but pushed out by “Enjoy”, becoming the B-side to the UK It’s Oh So Quiet single instead. The album has sold 228,000 copies in U.S. according to SoundScan.

My first Björk album, back in 1998. It made me realise that music can be a transforming experience.

Telegram's Hyper-Ballad is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. [3]

in the USA + Japan, "Telegram" was released with the 11th track "I Miss You (Album Version)" simply because it was the last single from "Post", which coincided with the release of "Telegram" itself. To make this remix album more marketable and to promote the single as well, "I Miss You" passed off as a single from this album and not from "Post". However, in Europe, a less "difficult" market, the single belonged to "Post", and "Telegram" does not have an 11th track, only the 10 original remixes comissioned by Bjork. All clear?

I also have a physical copy of the album (bought when it was released, way back in 1996) and it has 11 songs - as verdena said below, 11th track is simply "I Miss You" in its original version.
