Biography
One of the first and only rappers in the Hip-Hop Urban scene in Prishtina.
His interest in Hip-Hop emerged since the young age (14) in 1997. Influenced by the circumstances of life and on the other side telling the true spirit of Hip-Hop. He became popular in the 2000’s when he started collaborating with some other well known artists but the real success came as a part of a group that changed forever the course of Hip-Hop culture in Kosovo, the group “NR” or “UrbaNRoots”
After splitting with the group, Bimbimma continues and gives his contribution by participating in local and international festivals, engaging in projects that have to do with Hip Hop culture and by partnering with local and foreign artists, one of them was DJ Flow
The first performance between BimBimma and DJ Flow was in June 2009 in Berlin, Germany, as part of the “Hotel Prishtina” project which promotes the culture of Kosovo in Germany, in Holland, the Dutch artistic act is part of the international project “Piece for Peace”. This project involves artists from around the globe, first by including countries that have gone through the war (Kosovo, Croatia, Bosnia, Vietnam, Georgia, Brazil, etc.).
Bimbimma is also a representative of urban culture of Kosovo in RO-FEST festival that’s held in Rotterdam of Netherlands every year.
Standing in the Netherlands gives Bimbimma a chance that through these participants and assistants of the project “Piece for Peace” to create the band Hope Box.
