"Nothing From Nothing" is an tune by Billy Preston. It was featured in his 1974 album 'Kids and Me'. Preston wrote the song in the dressing room of an Atlanta nightclub where he was performing, basing it on the popular saying: "Nothing from nothing leaves nothing." Longtime collaborator Bruce Fisher added to the song. It was a critical success, hitting the #1 spot.
