I don't want to be pretentious, grandiose or anything like that... but this song (for me at least) is the encapsulation of sorrow. I don't know why it's so overlooked. Her vocals are amazing, and she does not need more than a very few couple of words to express her sadness. Hell, even if she would have just vocalized and not even actually spoken any words, one could still feel the palpable sorrow in the way her voice rasps and flows and bends and straightens. It is a superb delivery and performance... only Hank Williams or Elvis Presley come to mind when I think of people who can convey so much in so little time with just their voice. I wish more people would get the chance to hear this in their lifetime; I doubt they'd be sorry if they did.
