Biography
(1997 – present)
Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings are a blues-rock band founded in 1997 and led by The Rolling Stones’ bass guitarist Bill Wyman. Together with his lifelong musical partner Terry Taylor. This “Dirty Boys” duo produce, arrange and compose original material for the award-winning band. Members of the band, eithering touring or as studio guests, has included such stars as Peter Frampton, Albert Lee, Gary Brooker, Georgie Fame, Andy Fairweather-Low, Mark Knopfler and Martin Taylor.
The Rhythm Kings are renowned for their popular live performances as they frequently tour through Europe and the United Kingdom. The touring unit often is compared to ringo starr and his all-starr band for its somewhat revolving door of membership as established musicians move from project to project.
