SaxySid you are right. Billy Cobham leads the Downbeat polls as the greatest living drummer. Bill Bruford is also right up there.

Now that he's retired, Gavin Harrison takes over (along with Danny Carey) as greatest playing drummers. Peart too.

"How can anyone consider progressive rock music lackluster or outdated. Bring it back....we need more musicians in today's music not pretty weenie teenie bopper bullshit. Viva Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Aphrodite's Child, Captain Beyond, Yes, Capatin Beefheart........................"....................................... Hear Hear! I love punk but never bought that b.s. about it being a reaction as prog. A reaction against ELP? Become a musician and play your instrument or don't. Keep criticism out of it. Captain Beyond? Learned a few new names here!

Jeff Berlin is an awesome musician...I saw him play the intro to this as well as Joe Frazier to kill some time at a Holdsworth show, while they were fixing the PA system..outrageous!!

Classic Bruford. Signature snare, roto-toms and foot work.
