aha! reading further... i see that the theme song to 'that 70s show' is actually a cover of this tune done by cheap trick. i don't know why, but cheap trick never did much for me. i like this version much better.

are you kidding me? i never realized that the theme song to 'that 70s show' was a redone version of a real 70s tune. i don't particularly care for the redone version, but i dig this version. it has much more of a groove to it that feels good. the vocals fit better because of the tempo.
