Biography

Montreal, Canada (2005 – present)

Beyond Creation was created in Montreal, Canada in 2005 under the inspiration of Simon Girard and Nicolas Domingo Viotto. The band has evolved through the years and created it’s own style of music. After three years of searching for musicians that had this passion towards extreme music, Kevin Chartre (co-worker of Simon Girard) presented Guyot Begin-Benoit to him. After auditioning, the band decided to accept him in the formation and a couple of months later, Nicolas Domingo Viotto decided to quit the band. Ironically, Kevin Chartre took his place and during January 2010, after listening to the group’s song called «Injustice Revealed», Dominic «Forest» Lapointe contacted them to join the formation. And this is how Beyond Creation finally came to life.

Now with the complete line-up, Beyond Creation is ready to bring you to outer spaces with it’s unique and powerful sounds. Incorporating melodic to extreme blasting metal, with progressive and technical riff, without forgetting these growls vocals from under grave, the band is a mix of influences of many different kind.

Simon Girard - Vocals/Guitars
Kevin Chartre - Guitar
Dominic «Forest» Lapointe - Bass
Philippe Boucher - Drums

I disliked The Aura very much. It had some many stuff that I hated (most notably is how bad the drums sounded) and they were all gathered in one place, so going to Earthborn Evolution I had very low expectations. I couldn't even listen to it fully because of how "boring" I thought it was. But, that has changed, I have listened to it 7 times according to Last.fm and i must say, I really misjudged this album. I had heard some of the tunes pre-release and though they were meh, but they are actually pretty good. So I find the new album to be light years better than The Aura.
