Betty Goes Green is a Belgian alternative rock group formed in 1990. The band emerged from the Luc Crabbe project The Killer T-Bag. Betty Goes Green debuted in 1992 with the album “Hell of a show”. The album was well-received by the Belgian press and the band had many gigs in Belgium.

After their debutalbum Betty Goes Green signed with BMG/Ariola and made the albums “Hunularia” and “Hand Some” which were produced by Mike Rathke (guitarist of Lou Reed). Since their second album Betty Goes Green found Lou Reed as one of their bigger fans. After their fourth album “Hedonic Tone” Betty Goes Green even paticipated on his European tour in 1996.

Over the years Betty Goes Green had some minor successes with the singles “Cold by the sea” and “Life Long Devotion” from the album “Hunularia”. Their biggest success came when in 1998 the title song of the album “The Well” became a huge radio hit. After their last album “Dreamers and Lovers”, which was released in 2000, few more is heard from Betty Goes Green. In 2006 Luc Crabbe recorded a solo-calbum.
