‘I highly suggest you get this band into your life’ - BBC Across The Line

‘Jaunty, motivated and fearlessly original, the name Best Boy Grip is on everyone’s lips and with good reason.’ - Brian Coney, Au Magazine.

‘lovely melody, some plaintive piano chords and alarming surprises inside. That was certainly an aspect of the recent ‘Barbara’ EP and it’s a reason why we’re expecting ace developments in 2012.’ - Stuart Bailie, BBC

For one man and his piano, the tracks are massive sounding pop songs, unbelievably instant, fun and welcoming. - Rigsy, BBC Across The Line

‘Calling to mind the work of national treasure Neil Hannon, Best Boy Grip’s is intelligent, literate pop…’Barbara’ is faultless…It has very little to do with the world of contemporary pop music, and it’s all the better for it. - Steven Rainey, Culture Northern Ireland
