Biography

An ’80s throwback. That in a nutshell, is what Berndsen sounds like. The heavy use of synths, and clean, elaborate well timed guitar solos, mixed with pumping dance beats. Berndsen got introduced to synthesizers by Icelandic young electro-legend and frequent collaborator Hermigervill — after that there was no turning back. They got their hands on early 1980s synths and drum machines and released the album Lover in the Dark which contains beautiful, icy pop songs reminiscent of OMD & Duran Duran.
