Benny Maths is a rascal, a rotter and a reprobate. He is also a purveyor of salacious sounds and aural delights, aiming to put a swing in your hips, seducing you to dance along the line of immoral conduct and disreputable behaviour and all the while lavishing a big grin across your face. Expect to hear everything and anything, as he makes the speakers ooze with rump-shaking nonsense and rug-cutting filth, enveloping the dance floor in his warm embrace of musical mayhem and sonic shenanigans. Whether on his own, or as part of Hold It Down, Benny’s only stipulation is that the music ensures your back remains firmly detached from the wall.

You can find him spinning wax in Liverpool every month at his two residencies, ‘Are You Louche?’ (no set date, no set venue, just keep your eyes peeled!) and ‘Rumjig@Django’s’ (the last Friday of every month at Django’s Riff, Wood St). Plus he loves Michael Bay and lures children into his gingerbread house.
