1) Benighted is a French Brutal Death Metal/Grindcore band. They formed in 1998 in Balbigny, France. Benighted has slowly evolved from a blackened death metal sound, to a newer sound of brutal death metal. This is considered to be a fusion of several styles: combining groovy death-thrash riffs with black metal-ish sections, and various different styles of harsh vocals throughout their songs.
Benighted have 5 albums under their belt: 2000’s Benighted, 2002’s Psychose, 2003’s Insane cephalic production, and 2005’s Identisick. They released their recent effort in 2007, titled Icon. Their official website is www.staybrutal.com

3) Benighted: is a Swedish black metal band. They formed around 2001 by Aho, as he had just left Immemoreal and wanted to start something of his own, and be able to have full control of the productivity. Salle was the obvious choice of a drummer, since they had been playing together before in several death and black metal bands, and had also been friends since years back.
