B-CZAR: What literary character do you most relate to?
GOPAL: Oh, that's tough. I think I relate a little bit to quite a few. I'm quite fond of Severian from Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun, and in a god like sort of way, Azrarn from Tanith Lee's Tales from the Flat Earth. But I can't really say I truly relate to either of them; more that I would like to exist in their worlds.
B-CZAR: In your interview with Dark Velvet (issue 1, fall 1998), Gopal referred to your music as "very, very, fairy tale." What's your favorite fairytale?
GOPAL: I don't suppose I have one. I just generally like the older German or Norse myths and ghost stories. I love me some Goblins! Pretty much anything with a Goblin or Gremlin wreaking havoc, I'm good with.
